STATEMENT OF FAITH

 

1. We believe in the Bible as God’s only inspired, inerrant authoritative revelation of Himself.

2. We believe in one God who is Creator of heaven and earth, existing eternally in one essence and three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

3. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ who manifested Himself in the flesh. That He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.

4. We believe His life was sinless, He performed miracles, and His death was sacrificial for the sins of every human being as an offer of the free gift of salvation.

5. We believe in the bodily resurrection from the dead of the Lord Jesus Christ and His ascension to the right hand of God as our intercessor.

6. We believe in the bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

7. We believe in the new birth – that one must receive the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior on faith alone and are born again thus receiving eternal life and justification, which results in repentance of sin by the believer.

8. We believe that the Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Godhead and convicts men of sin, regenerates, indwells, and sets believers apart to a holy life. We believe that He is the Teacher of the Word of God and guides us in our daily lives.

9. We believe water baptism and the Lord’s Supper were instituted by the Lord Jesus Christ as outward symbols of salvation and a sign of remembrance and obedience to him until He comes again.

10. We believe in the church of the Lord Jesus Christ and gathering of believers for worship and serve and that it is the responsibility and privilege of all who are saved to seek to win others to Christ.
